| NJT train 5521 vs. CSX Q439...this was one of those rare moments when I was in the right place at the right time to catch two simultaneous westbounds on the Lehigh Line. As Q439 slowly approached Hillside on track 2, an NJ Transit Raritan-bound commuter train blasted by on track 1. NJT's Raritan Valley Line trains use a 5.5 mile section of Conrail's Lehigh Line between CP NK in Newark and CP ALDENE in Roselle Park, making this a very busy stretch of railroad. |
