Pulling away from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and passing the famed Casino and Coconut Grove and heading to "Christmas Town". In the past 80 years little has changed except the trains themselves. The Casa Del Rey hotel, which was in the now parking lot on the left was destroyed in the '89 quake but the Grove remains. The one time venue for big bands served as a place for war wounded Navy men in WWII and is still in use.
