Remarks & Notes
A single Class 7E heads up a very late running Johannesburg - East London "Amatola", here running along the low hills south of the town of Bethulie, just visible above the loco in the far distance. Shortly before reaching this location, the train crossed the Orange River on the longest railway bridge in South Africa - see photo ID 416598.
