Restoration of service. More than a month after Hurricane Sandy came ashore in New Jersey, service resumed on NJ Transit's Gladstone Branch on Monday, December 3, 2012. With the catenary still out from Kearny to Hoboken, the dual-mode ALP45s have replaced the line's typical Arrow sets on runs to and from Hoboken, with 4506 seen here shoving a mid-day eastbound train through Murray Hill. This line was the last NJT line to resume service, due to many fallen trees and broken wooden catenary poles.
