I was just ready to leave the yard for home when I heard the "K-010" symbol over the scanner. Knowing what that meant in low December sunshine, I raced over to the Route 32 Bridge. This is my first shot of these new monsters now rolling into the Albany Port from the west. Three BNSF units haul 102 loads of Bakken Crude for Buckeye Terminal in the Albany Port. I got a kick how the leader's number used to be the same number as a favorite Conrail unit of mine in the Berkshires... |
