Clean SD70Ms on the Moffat!
On August 2, 2001, a short Union Pacific Photo Extra approaches the east portal of Tunnel 1 on the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. A pair of clean SD70Ms (Nos. 4549 and 4303) lead this special train, made up of a few boxcars gathered up in Denver’s North Yard. Union Pacific’s official photographer, William Kratville, is set up on the other side of Tunnel 1, where the company photos will be made.
