Remarks & Notes
Having run light engine from Millsite depot in Krugersdorp, this quartet of class 34 GE U26C's has slowed to a crawl at the west end of Tarlton station, to allow the drivers assistant to climb down and throw the point lever for the loop. They will then pick up 18 loaded fuel tankers for Botswana from the Transnet Pipelines terminal loading facility and head west to Mafikeng.

The red & whisker livery of the South African Railways / Suid Afrikaanse Spoorwee collection. Getting harder to find examples of this fantastic and much loved livery still in service!
