If you ask me "what's the most awesome high-speed train", well, it's got to be this. But it's not the modest top speed (250 km/h). And it's not the design (although I quite like it), no. It's the fact that this one still does 180 km/h after the overhead wire ends! Ah yes, and it can change between standard and iberian broad gauge, too. And it tilts. And it runs on both 25kV AC and 3kV DC. And it's got those crazy one-axle Talgo cars.
