Remarks & Notes |
With a day off from switching lumber and salt cars in Claremont, New Hampshire, the Claremont Concord Alco S-4 105 rests inside the confines of the railroad's enginehouse at Claremont Junction. The CCRR 105 was built in March of 1954 as CN 8032 and was eventually converted to a snow fighting locomotive before being acquired by the CCRR to be used as an active freight hauler again. This is currently the only active locomotive in Claremont. |
