Remarks & Notes |
Perhaps one of the reasons that CP's Hamilton Subdivision remains a seldom photographed section of track between Guelph Junction and Hamilton is because of the lack of trains and the time of day which they run. Most trains seem to pass through during the night or at times when they are backlit. However, this was not the case today as Sudbury-Buffalo train # 246 made an appearance in the mid morning (an ideal time for southbounds on this line). With a pair GE products for power, 246 is almost half way down the hill into Hamilton as it is seen approaching the 7th Concession grade crossing at Flamborough. |
