M385 in run 8 screams out of the Saint Clair River Tunnel as it arrives into the US from Canada. When one thinks of Michigan tunnels do not come to mind but this is one of 4 tunnels that link Michigan to Canada. M385 is rolling out of the 1995 completed tunnel that was built to accommodate auto racks and stack cars, before it was built the high cars were put on barge and sent across the river. The original 1891 built tunnel is to the right in this photo with the other two tunnels are in Detroit.
