Bay Line 2051 leads the Brickyard job down the "other" street running section of Columbus. This segment isn't used as frequently as the 9th St NS portion. This is now operated by the Columbus & Chattahoochee/ Georgia Southwestern Railroads, but was formerly CSX, and originally Seaboard Airline. SAL used to run 0-4-0 steam shifters down this section. They had turnouts and another perpendicular line along Broadway where they operated trollies. Broadway is the brick crossroad a block ahead of the camera. The train is at 1st Av, and stop signs can also be seen at 2nd Av, 3rd Av, and Veterans Parkway (the old 4th Av).
