DMIR 185, an SD18, along with DMIR 143, a phase 3 SD9, and DMIR 169, a phase 4 SD9, bask in the morning sunlight along the shore of Lake Superior at Endion Yard, a small merchandise yard east of downtown Duluth. This area is now part of I35/US 61 with only a single track remaining. The arrowhead scheme was introduced in 1970 on their locomotives.
