A loaded Lawler ethanol train is down to crawl as these 2 AC's try to get the 82 loads up the 1.4% grade at Calmar. It has taken 14 minutes for this power to crawl from the crossing back where the tanks can be seen left of the power, to where they are now. CP is really short power with the new CEO take over, so trains on the Cornlines are running sometimes short on power. Good thing these were AC units, cause DC power wouldn't of taken this heavy loading for as along as it took. |
