Remarks & Notes

A trio of trains sit at Brunswick, MD on the morning following the June 2012 Mid-Atlantic and Midwest derecho. The storms were one of the most destructive and deadly fast-moving severe thunderstorm complexes in North American history. The CSX Cumberland and Metropolitan subs were essentially shut down for days as the storm damage to the mainlines was cleared.
