| Here's one of my favorite locations to catch trains in Spanish Fork Canyon. UP 8344 East rattles the facing crossover switches at CP RG677 Rio with 10,551 ft. Mt. Loafer looming in the background. I miss the Rio Grande dearly, but it's still a kick to watch a heavy UP train climb the grade to Soldier Summit. |
