This shot of Alco RS-3 #109 is in the East Ely engine house at the Nevada Northern Railway during the 2013 Winter Steam Spectacular. The steamers are the stars during the photo shoots but this classic RS-3 looks great tucked away. I love how the light streams in during the late afternoon. Just add a little steam and coal smoke and you get magic light.
