Remarks & Notes |
Port Colborne was the southern terminus for this CN-owned branch on the Niagara Escarpment, running north-south in a territory rife with east-west lines. This was the CN Welland Sub, running from the north end at Thorold to Port Colborne on Lake Erie; about 15 miles west of Niagara Falls and parallel to the Welland Canal. This car is about to head north past the wig-wag and onto the main to head north. The depot is out of view to the left. |
