Remarks & Notes |
Apparently NS&T rules required stops at all meets, if the stop signs and oil-slicked right of way are any indication. Here car #82 holds the main while the Motorman greets it's northbound opposition, car #130. This location was known as Electric Park or Stop 19. The photographer and his railfan buddy the late William Rosenberg are both likely up front crowding the railfan "seats" for a picture, perhaps tipped of the meet by the friendly Motorman on their car. #82 was built by NS&T in 1923 and converted to a freight motor after passenger service ended in 1959. |
