| A freshly loaded BNSF ore train begins it's trip south for Birmingham, Alabama on a cold spring afternoon in Minnesota. The train was loaded at U.S. Steel's Keewatin taconite plant (Keetac) which is located through the trees just outside this small town (pop. 1068) on Minnesota's Iron Range. The train is 125 cars long, 6315 feet in length and 16,850 tons. |
