Remarks & Notes
Making a rare trip to White River Junction, the Pan Am southbound train WJED is on the way back to East Deerfield, Massachusetts with the MEC (Guilford) GP40 379 and MEC (Pan Am) GP40 354 as it crosses from Windsor, Vermont into Cornish, New Hampshire on Friday afternoon, April 5. This marks the first time in nearly a year that Pan Am has made the trek to White River Junction. Visible under the bridge is the long covered bridge with the long retired toll house is visible just to the left of the farthest left railroad bridge pier.
