With great trepidation the East Tennesee Railfan Association offered tickets at $50 each for the only fantrips with #1 and no diesels. Here the old teakettle has gone to Altapass, turned, added a caboose and is headed back north as the helpers on a SB coal train roar past. The day is rainy and cool, bringing out the steam making for a soulful day. What would we pay for such a trip to day? IMHO, run em short, charge more and have more fun!
