| Not often we get to see five Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) red liveried 18Es working a train together in KZN - the Umbilo Locomotive Depot, where the units originate from are not big on colour coding before dispatching them - to be honest though, these locomotives work hard and spend very little time idle in any one place. This is 18-605 at the front of empty CAR Wagons (Ore) and is on its way to Newcastle possibly with the empties. The fifth loco is having a free ride, but will be at the business end on the way back with a new load. |
