| The peaceful calm of a spring morning in the Tehachapi pass is shattered by four hard working GE motors as they do battle with the stiff grades and seemingly endless number of curves that rule the western slope of the famed mountain pass. BNSF 5193 is approaching the Bealville cross-overs while its train is strung back along the line towards the west end of Bealville siding. The west end of the siding was once Allard siding until Allard was extended to meet the original siding at Bealville, many years ago. The hills are starting to trade in their Spring green coat for the golden brown grass that will rule soon regain rule of the landscape. |
