| Independent Locomotive Service #1340 wobbles its way south from Dakota Junction through the west side of Thief River Falls over the jointed rail of the southern Warroad subdivision. The locomotive detached from the Warroad Local and is a couple blocks away from joining ILSX 1339 and parking on the wye for the week while the 4-axle power takes the switching duties up to Roseau. The foreground track is the siding to CHS Inc., and the track behing the locomotive is the old loading ramp. The rail in place is still Great Northern era, for better or for worse. |
