CPLs going! Rumor has it that the CPLs at Mexico are gone this year, and maybe the ex-tower comes down also. Here, Q394-04 is yarding its train after a run from Toledo. Lots of details to be seen: a track inspector high rail is seen through the foreground CPLs, as is another pair of CPLs further back. There is an odd angled stripe on each CPL face, caused by a unique sun angle resulting in light making it past the lens hoods only in that one diagonal slot. The track 2 signal gives a clear indication, reflecting the approach of an empty coal train from the east.
