Remarks & Notes |
New England Central has paired a set of Genesee & Wyoming-painted four-axles for the first time in advance of Saturday's National Train Day passenger excursion on the NECR. NECR GP40CU 3809 (GP40) and GP40-2CU (GP40-2LW) 3015 are seen at Walpole, NH and are ready for the Saturday run. Note the strap mismatch as the 3809 was painted to match it's normally-assinged RP-E4 slug, while the 3015 is standard GWI striping. |
