Remarks & Notes |
An Amtrak ballast train passes the former Pennsylvania Railroad MIDWAY tower while entering the out of service track 4. This consist is being dropped here so it will be ready for action on Monday morning. Amtrak is currently leasing at least three Norfolk Southern GP40-2s for this long-term tie and rail replacement project. This train included 3031 on the east end, with 3030 and 3032 on the west end. The crew would return to Adams Yard light with NS 3030 after dropping this train east of the tower. |
