| Summit - Looking Westward at Dusk [National Train Day 2013] - A stack train drawn by four BNSF GEVO's crest the Cajon Pass on a hot May evening on their way to Barstow and points eastward.
People don't usually take pictures of trains from this point of view, rather, they tend to use the turnoff on highway 138 that is located about midway up the frame of the picture.
I, on the other hand like to hike trough the chapperal on 100 degree days and be one with the rattle snakes and the other beasties that roam the borderlands of the Mojave Desert. |
