Remarks & Notes
The Nickel Plate Heritage unit NS 8100 is seen spotting loaded oil cans for the big Buckeye Terminal at the Albany Port from an inbound K010 out of Selkirk Yard. The crew was on hold for several hours on the Port Sub for MOW work inside the plant staging yard. This allowed however for ideal late afternoon sun once the power set was able to spot the train inside the yard. This marks the second visit by the NKP 8100 to the Albany Port on a similar K-010/K-011. Oil distribution is scheduled to continue to boom for CSXT and the Capital Region into 2014.
