Remarks & Notes
The 900 has been inoperable for the past year and has made its triumphant return to service after a rebuild. Here it is after a turn switching Mill 5 at the top of the hill this morning and is bringing back several loads of lumber and empty log cars. Goldsborough Creek flows towards Puget Sound water (Oakland Bay) where Simpson pulls logs out of the water just a few hundred yards from here. The 900 is equipped with dynamics and has one exhaust stack.

Based in Shelton, Washington, this private operation has hauled logs and lumber for its parent timber company Simpson Lumber (Timber) since 1890. Here you will be able to easily research all of my STC images on this site.
