Penn Central X 3. The NS 1073 PC heritage unit sits in old Penn Central territory at the Selkirk engine service area. It is framed in the foreground by CSX 1015, an ex Conrail MT-6 slug, former CR 1118, built from a Penn Central RSD12 #6858 and framed in the background by the Penn Central built Selkirk Diesel Shop. Penn Central 6858 started life as PRR 8658 and in later PC years was assigned to the Dewitt Hump in Syracuse, NY, about 145 miles from Selkirk.
