Oddities and action at Kinnear: With some remaining horsepower hours to use up, CN 5766 made its way into the lead position of Sudbury-Buffalo manifest 246. After dropping off its load of steel at SteelCare in Aberdeen Yard, CP 246 is seen making its second stop in Hamilton at Kinnear Yard for a quick crew change. To the right of 246 is a Herzog Ballast train led by 9007, one of a few remaining EMD SD40-2Fs on the CP System coined 'Red Barns'. Idling in the extreme right of the frame is a trio of EMD GP9s, assigned to switch along the Hamilton Belt Line and on transfer duty to Aberdeen. Can you say this is as good as it gets?
