Once a former gray LMX GE B39-8 like sister No. 8524 behind, San Luis & Rio Grande No. 8577 shows off her new colors at Alamosa, Colorado, on September 19, 2007. The locomotive came to the SL&RG in April 2007, and was the first repainted in this “Rio Grande” scheme.
