| Conrail ME-2 makes a reverse move back to Metuchen Yard from Deans with the caboose leading. The second unit is CSXT 4441, a GP38-2s (de-rated GP40-2). The train seems a little overpowered today as it crosses the Raritan River viaduct on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. Note the recently repainted "RUTGERS" (pardon the cropped out "S") on the base of the viaduct. Students from this state university, adjacent to the NEC, recently touched up this long-standing "advertisement". |
