"If those rails could talk..."
BNSF's daily Northgate Local rocks and rolls on 1914 forged stick rail that has seen it all, whether it be Great Northern steam locomotives spotting empties for the elevator, or six SD9's on potash loads from Canada, the Crosby Subdivision rails in Hartland, ND has witnessed everything. They will also soon witness the end, as a major infrastructure rebuild is planned for this Summer with new business in the form of unit crude oil trains will be coming to the branch line.
