Remarks & Notes |
In August 1967, when she was just 13years and 3 months old, Swindon-built 75029 was withdrawn from British Railways service. 46 years later she still roams the northern rails and is seen here with the NYMR dining train 'The Moorlander'. Showing barely a whisper of exhaust this proves excellence in driving and firing even though she is still climbing hard towards the line summit situated about half a mile further. |
