Remarks & Notes |
"Pacific" steamlocomotive C 57 1 of Japan Railways (West) was built in 1937 by Kawasaki as first of a series of 201 engines. The very successful locomotives were built from 1937 to 1947 and run till 1973 regularly. The C 57 1 belongs to the Umekoi SL Museum in Kyoto, but is pulling the "SL Yamaguchi" train every weekend in summertime. |
