A CSX EB rolls down the Mohawk Valley in Upstate NY. CSX, I-90, the Mohawk River-Erie Canal and 2 state highways squeeze together in this narrow point. Up until the late 1980's a stub ended piece of the old West Shore RR ran on the south side of the river thru here. The engines are rolling around a spot known as Big Nose Curve, named for the hill you see that the tracks are going around.
This album seeks to portray classic New England and Upstate New York imagery. It showcases the most perfect examples of regional identity, with special attention to structures and landscape.
