| RRL Grindrod's 'Hercules' Bo-Bo diesel electric (built by Union Carriage & Wagon South Africa 1970) departs from Harmony Gold's Nyala shaft with ten loaded hoppers. The Hercules will travel over Transnet Freight Rail tracks to the Brand exchange siding on the south side of Welkom, where one of Harmony Gold's own locomotives will take over for the run to the Gold One processing plant. |
