The NS Veterans unit, SD60E #6920, leads Piedmont Division train 349 across the CSX (former ACL) diamond in Selma, NC. The train started out as P1E at 3am this morning in Chocowinity, NC, picking up the Veterans unit, 13 military loads, and other freight at New Bern, and again picking up more freight and two additional locomotives in tow at the yard in Selma. Four hours after this scene was captured, the train arrived at its destination of Linwood Yard, NC. The Selma train station sees 10 Amtrak trains daily, 4 of which stops for passenger service here.
