As a pair of workers pulling a Sunday shift poke their heads out of the door to see what all the noise is about, Union Pacific's "J-Yard Switcher" shoves back on track 842 to pick up some cars at Sweetener Products in Vernon, California, on July 21st, 2013. Power for today's train are UPY GS21B 2707 and former Missouri Pacific GP38-2 806. (Thanks to Charles Freericks for the background information on this industry!)
