Remarks & Notes |
Calgary bound Rocky Mountaineer passes through K.C. Junction. "KC" refers to the "Kootenay Central Railway", the name for the original charter to build a railway heading south from Golden, which CP purchased and operated. KC Junction represents the north end of what is now known as the Windermere Subdivision that runs south to Fort Steele. A distance of 145 miles. |
