A REAL Conrail heritage unit for sure...
West Chester Railroad GP38 7706 soaks up some rays on the storage track in West Chester, PA on a warm Spring afternoon. The unit is ex-PPLX 7706, nee CR 7706 and PC 7706. Thanks to the WCRL for touching up her white paint. Unfortunately, this unit will too be coated in new paint...black and grey WCRL paint that is, when its mechanical issues are fixed and its ready to enter passenger service on the railroad. But at least we can enjoy the blue paint for now.
