Ja 1240 hauls Railway Enthusiasts Society excursion to from Otahuhu to Tokoroa making a dawn departure from Papakura. This Mainline Steam loco only recently returned to service and was run in at Glenbrook Vintage Railway before heading to the South Island.
Railway Enthusiasts Society has operated rail excursions around NZ since 1958, some steam hauled using rolling stock from Glenbrook Vintage Railway which it established in 1970's near Auckland. See www.railfan.org.nz
