On Saturday, August 17, 2013, the Utah Transit Authority opened a 3.8 mile extension of the Blue Line from the city of Sandy to Draper. A three car train of Siemens S70 LRVs is pictured cruising northward at 55 mph, approaching what used to be 'the end of the line, as far as we go' at the Sandy Civic Center station at 100th South. The linked Google map in satellite mode offers a great view of what this area looked like before the Blue Line extension was built and the former Union Pacific Provo Subdivision track was still in place.
