With the morning coffee break over, the two man crew hops on this former DM&IR SW 1200 and starts again working for Hallett Dock Co. at Duluth, MN. The switcher, retired by CN in 2006 and acquired by Hallett in 2007 was built in 1949 and came to the DM&IR from the EJ&E and it was originally an NW2 but upgraded before the EJ&E got it from the C&O. Today, Hallett uses it to spot cars for limestone loading and other bulk commodities at their facility in the shadows of the CN (formerly DM&IR) ore docks where the switcher worked originally.
