Remarks & Notes
Passing Palmer Lake on April 15, 2005, a large 745-ton Belleli vessel was nearing the end of its journey from Houston, Texas, to Denver, Colorado, using the “world’s largest railroad car,” Schnabel CEBX No. 800. The heavy load was going to a Commerce City oil refinery near Denver, and was specially-powered by brand new General Electric ES44DC No. 7687. Since this time, in mid-2012, Westinghouse has renumbered this car from CEBX 800 to WECX 800 and has added another Kasgro-built twin car to the Schnabel fleet, WECX 801, which now takes the title of largest railcar in the world.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
