Remarks & Notes |
Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #572 winds its way through San Diego's Rose Canyon as it decends the last hill into San Diego, California, on August 17th, 2013. This trainset is pulled by P42DC 182 and is made up of Amfleet coaches and a Horizon Fleet café car, with former F40PH 90208 as the non-powered control unit (NPCU) on the rear. Well ... Normally the rear. But today privately owned dome-diner-lounge "Silver Splendor" (ex-CB&Q "Silver Buckle") is on the rear, chartered by Athearn Model Trains. |
