Remarks & Notes
NJ Transit Hoboken to Dover train 1001 is discharging passengers in Denville. Today's train has a Metro-North F40PH for power. Metro-North locomotives and coaches can be found on most NJ Transit Hoboken Division rail lines, as the equipment is part of a pool. Metro-North contributes locomotives and passenger cars to the pool to allow for sufficient equipment to operate on the MNCR financed Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Lines.

Two rapid transit lines, PATCO and PATH, take commuters to Philadelphia and New York, respectively. Metro North locomotives and rolling stock often show up on NJ Transit northern lines and SEPTA terminates routes in Trenton and West Trenton.
